Our First Test

Wordly Wise Test: Lesson 1

Our first Wordly Wise Test is Tuesday, September 11th. All Wordly Wise tests will be the same lessons for each grade level but from their individual grade level books.

Fifth grade parents: Remember to turn in all money and paper work for science camp. Science Camp is the week of September 24th and the cost is $275.

Back to School Night is Thursday, September 20th. I am looking forward to seeing you that evening.

Goodbye Class of 2012 & Welcome 4th/5th Grade Class of 2013

 The first day of school.... I felt like the day went well. I enjoyed meeting your children today and I am ready for a very exciting school year. Check the blog a couple of times a week to look for testing updates and project due dates.

Open House and Chaperones

Open House and Science Fair is Thursday, May 24th, 6pm. Come and view your child's work in the classroom.

Our end of the year field trip is June 4th. We are going to have an activity filled day at the park. The students are planning the trip and there will be a cost for food and supplies for activities. We are also looking for chaperones, if you are available that day please let me know. Thanks. 

Science Fair Project and 50 States Test

Friday, May 11th- 50 States and Capitals Test

Monday, May 14th- Science Fair Projects are due. Students will be making presentations throughout the week but all projects must be turned in by Monday.

State Testing

State Testing begins this week. We will start testing Science: Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th of this week. Next week, we will test Monday through Thursday ( 2 days of ELA and 2 days of Math consecutively)

We will be testing every morning as soon as school starts. Please make sure your child is on time everyday of testing. Also, please make sure they are present at school as not to have to take multiple parts of the test on the same day. 

Remind them to go to bed a reasonable time and to eat a healthy breakfast.
