May is going to be an extremely busy month for your child. Here are a few important due dates.
States and Capitals
4th graders are only going to be learning the location and spelling of the 50 states. 5th graders are responsible for all 50 capitals and states. Each Friday of this month, your child will take a test on the states and/capitals until the big 50 states test at the end of the month.
Science Fair
Science Fair Projects are due Monday, May 13th.
Historical Fiction Writing Assignment
Students will receive the assignment Friday of this week.
Due Tuesday, May 7th
State and Mammal Research Report
During class your child has been taking notes preparing for their research report. The first draft of the research report is due Tuesday, May 14th. The second/final draft is due Tuesday, May 28th.
