TESTS!!!

Here is a list of our upcoming tests and projects. 

Wordly Wise: Thursday, September 29th

Writing: Science Camp Personal Narrative, September 30th

Math: Adding/Subtracting/Multiplying/Dividing Decimals, Friday, October 7th

Remember, to bring in your envelopes for the PTA Membership Drive, $10 donation but feel free to add more to donate to the PTA. All funds raised are used to benefit your child. 

Picture Day is Wednesday (kids will need to be in common dress)

Book Fair Starts Monday, October 3rd

Back to School Night, Thursday, October 6th

Picture Day and Back to School Night

Picture Day is Wednesday, September 28th. The kids have to wear common dress for the pictures but I told them they can spruce up their look with their hair or accessories. Or if they were very nice to their kind loving parents maybe they would be able to buy a new white top to wear. But of course, just a suggestion.

Back to School Night is October 6th. I am looking forward to seeing you that evening.

Check here for weekly news about what is going on in Room 502. I am excited about this school year and I am ready to hear from you and keeping you up to date for what we are doing in class. 

Now that we are back from Science Camp, we will be starting all of our curriculum.

Here is what we will be working on in the next month. 

Math: Decimals Unit: Adding and Subtracting Decimals and Multiplying and Dividing Decimals. Science: Chapter 1 Cells Social Studies: Native Americans and Explorers Unit Language Arts: Wordly Wise Lessons 3 and 4 Writing: Topic Sentences, types of sentences, and summary writing.
